Amazon Fire TV Launch Events in Tokyo and New York City

Bad Cat Events planned and produced two launch events for Amazon's Fire TV product.  The first was held at Milk Studios in New York City, with 200+ journalists in attendance. This launch event included a product presentation by Amazon executive Peter Larsen, with hands-on demonstrations in real-world scenarios -- a living room, a kids' room and a game room space.  The second was held in Tokyo, Japan to announce the launch of the product for Japanese customers and included a presentation for Japan-based journalists, as well as hands-on demos in real-world scenarios.

Bad Cat Events managed all aspects of both events, including venue selection and contract negotiation, design and decor, technical/AV planning, production, vendor management and budget management.

"Today at Milk Studios in New York City, in a space designed to look and feel like movie night in the family living room—couches, bowls of candy, the smell of popcorn—Amazon unveiled FireTV. . ." (Austin Carr, Fast Company)
"Amazon held the announcement at Manhattan's Milk Studios, replete with a living-room set centered around a gigantic central HDTV and flanked by two other screens. The event had a movie theme with posters lining the walls and Amazon doled out popcorn and candy to attendees."  (Todd Spangler, Variety)
